Acupuncture Initial Consultation

Service Description

Acupuncture is a chiropractic service and is billed under your chiropractic coverage. An initial consultation consists of a 20 minute discussion of your health history followed by a 40 minute chiropractic examination, and a 30 minute treatment. The examination is a functional assessment which identifies limitations in range of motion, joint restrictions, muscular imbalances, nerve dysfunction, and orthopedic tests to rule-in and rule-out specific health conditions in order to arrive at an accurate clinical diagnosis. As a regulated health professional and chiropractor, Dr. Jenna is qualified to order x-rays and formulate a diagnosis of your neurofunctional and musculoskeletal condition. X-ray requisitions are approximately $30, paid to the x-ray clinic. For your first appointment, please bring in your filled out NEW PATIENT APPLICATION form, and 1-2 OUTCOME MEASURE forms relevant to your primary areas of complaint. These forms can be accessed on the "Forms" tab. Your second appointment will be a Report of Findings and Initial Treatment session.
